Fighting out of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, Bill Algeo (15-6) will be looking to make it back-to-back wins for the first time since 2019 this weekend. Algeo is coming off of a unanimous decision victory Joanderson Brito back in January. With that being said, he will need to put in a flawless performance against a tough opponent.
As for his opponent, Herbert Burns (11-3), he will be looking to pick up his third win inside the promotion this weekend. Burns is coming off a knockout defeat to Daniel Pineda nearly two years ago. Herbert earned a shot at competing in the UFC after a successful stint in the Dana White’s Contender Series against Darrick Minner.

Heading into this weekend’s featherweight bout, despite Algeo having a height advantage, it’s Burns who will have a slight edge in the reach department.
Ring rust could play a factor for Burns this weekend considering he hasn’t fought in nearly two years. Either way, we’re in for an intriguing matchup. Algeo’s height, movement and volume could pay dividends as he will look to pick Burns apart on the feet. That’s exactly how we suspect the fight will play out. However, if Algeo gets taken to the mat, it could be a long night at the office for him, due to Burns’ highly-skilled jiu-jitsu background.
