ANGEL PACHECO VS CAOLAN LOUGHRAN LOWDOWN
Angel Pacheco (7-2) makes his debut after failing his Contender Series debut. In fairness, he lost to Danny Silva (2023) who has gone on to earn a UFC win recently. Prior to that he was coming off finishing his last three opponents – Damion Hill (2021 -Cage Fighting Xtreme), Zack Schroeder (2022 – Huff Entertainment) and Vilson Ndregioni (2022 – Cage Fury Fighting Championships).
Caolan Loughran (8-1) earnt his UFC debut after tearing up the Cage Warriors scene and got the call-up after four second-round knockouts in a row. He had a tough debut in the form of Taylor Lapilus (2023) who handed him the first loss of his career which was via unanimous decision.
ANGEL PACHECO VS CAOLAN LOUGHRAN PREDICTION
Both fighters have a lot to prove as they search for their first UFC win. Pacheco pleaded for another opportunity after his loss at the Apex and that is exactly what he has, so he cannot afford a limp performance.
He is going to bring a fast pace and try and overwhelm Loughran on the feet with his volume. This should create an exciting scrap. Loughran is well-rounded despite trying to turn his last fight into a wrestling match.
He is a dangerous striker and we can see him feeling Pacheco out on the feet but ultimately, his wrestling is likely to win him this fight. We expect him to seal a couple rounds at least by grinding the American down.
