ALIASKHAB KHIZRIEV VS DENIS TIULIULIN LOWDOWN
Aliaskhab Khizriev (13-0) finally makes his UFC debut after having four scheduled fights fall through. He was lined up against Wellington Turman, Kyle Daukaus, Alessio Di Chirico and Abusupiyan Magomedov which all illustrate how highly touted he is. He is yet to taste defeat and is coming off a ruthless submission over Henrique Shiguemoto (2020) on the Contender Series which also came after finishing Rousimar Palhares with ground and pound although it was in 2018.
Denis Tiuliulin (10-5) bravely replaces Magomedov on short notice. He arrives off the back of knocking Juscelino Ferreira Caetano out in the first round under the UAW Warriors banner. That was a year ago and came in response to getting submitted by Ikram Aliskerov back in September 2020.

Hats off to Tiuliulin for accepting this fight, but he is getting fed to a lion here. Khizriev is unbeaten for a reason. He is a monster in the grappling realm and an aggressive striker. He possesses ferocious power from his southpaw stance and is relentless when he gets hold of his opponents.
Tiuliulin is very dangerous in his own right and will be a threat on the feet. He is also a powerful striker and trains with Sean Strickland so he will hope they stand for as long as possible. Khizriev will test his metal on the feet firing off leg kicks and looking to offload his left hand.
It will be risky exchanging with Tiuliulin, but Khizriev can call upon his grappling at any time to take the fight away from him. From there, he will control him on the deck, rain down ground-and-pound to open up a submission. Once the fight goes to the floor, the unbeaten prospect will pick his poison.
