Two years on from reaching the fourth round on her Wimbledon debut aged just 16, Mirra Andreeva comes into Wimbledon having won two WTA 1000 events in 2025, albeit on hard courts.
The Russian sensation won just one of her three grass-court matches in preparation for Wimbledon, following a run to the quarter-finals at the French Open.
Mayar Sherif is featuring in the main draw at SW19 for the the third straight year, but she is yet to go beyond the first round at the historical Grand Slam.
Traditionally more of a clay-courter, Sherif did claim a Challenger title in Parma in May but has recorded just one victory on the WTA Tour throughout the whole of 2025.
This one should be one-way traffic with Andreeva cantering to a routine victory in two sets.
