Mirra Andreeva vs Linda Noskova prediction
Mirra Andreeva recorded her first win on grass this season and her fourth win over Clara Tauson this year as she came from a set down to defeat the Dane. Tauson was the better player in the first set, but Andreeva raised her game in the second and ended up comfortably winning 4-6 6-3 6-1.
She will now face Linda Noskova after she defeated last year’s finalist Donna Vekic in the previous round. Noskova also came from a set down to win 2-6 6-2 6-4 and is now into her second quarter-final in a row after reaching the last eight in Nottingham last week. Vekic was a break up in the decider but Noskova was able to overpower her towards the end of the match, reeling off three successive service games to take the win.
This is their first match on grass but Andreeva leads the head-to-head 3-1 and has won their last three meetings, including two matches this year in Brisbane and Rome. Noskova is a dynamic opponent on the grass but Andreeva is likely to outlast her and claim another win against the Czech.
