Mirra Andreeva will have designs on reaching her third French Open quarter-final in a row when she meets Jil Teichmann.
The Russian has been in exceptional form on clay this year, lifting the title in Linz and reaching the final in Madrid.
That level has continued in Paris where she will be a heavy favourite to see off world number 170 Teichmann.
The Swiss only returned from a seven-month lay-off last month but did reach the last four in Rabat and has beaten big names from the off here, including former finalist Karolina Muchova 6-1 7-5 last time out.
