Miomir Kecmanovic got his season off to a losing start as he lost to defending champion Alexandre Muller in the first-round of the Hong Kong Open. Muller, who had beaten Kecmanovic at the same tournament a year ago, converted all of his break point opportunities as he won in straight sets.
The Serb faces Valentin Vacherot in Adelaide. The Monegasque competed in Brisbane but also suffered an early exit as he lost to Sebastian Korda in the first-round.
