Miomir Kecmanovic vs Stan Wawrinka prediction

Miomir Kecmanovic could only make the second-round of the Stockholm Open as he lost in the second-round to Tomas Martin Etcheverry. The Serb has not been in great form over the last couple of months, with four losses from his last six matches. Apart from a quarter-final appearance in Winston-Salem, his form hasn’t been particularly inspiring in the second leg of the season. There were highlights during the earlier parts, as he won the Delray Beach Open and reached the semi-finals in Adelaide.

Three-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka was handed a wildcard for his home tournament. He also competed in the Shanghai Masters as a wildcard, his first tournament on the ATP Tour since July, but he lost in the first-round to Fabian Marozsan in three sets. The 40-year-old has still made two finals on the Challenger Tour this season but is without a title.

Wawrinka will be up for this one, with the veteran likely competing at one of his final tournaments in front of a home crowd. Despite his age, he can still be competitive against higher-ranked players, and he could push Kecmanovic into a third set.
