The world number 69 Miomir Kecmanovic has had some good showings in Grand Slam events in recent years and the Serbian enjoyed a minor resurgence in 2025 after his peak around 2022 and 2023. He won this event, his second career title, defeating Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in three sets in the final.
Mattia Bellucci was annihilated in the first round of the Australian Open in Melbourne last month, succumbing to Casper Ruud 6-1, 6-2, 6-4. 24-year-old Bellucci comes into this one on the back of a straight sets defeat to Brandon Nakashima in the first round of the ATP 500 Dallas Open last week.
Bellucci has returned to the ATP Challenge circuit quite often in the last six months or so and a comfortable victory for the reigning champion seems a good bet.
