Miomir Kecmanovic vs Alexandre Muller prediction

Miomir Kecmanovic will be hoping for a strong showing in Stockholm after four defeats from his last five matches overall. He did make the quarter-finals of the Winston Salem Open on the eve of the final major of the year in New York, but he lost in the first-round of the US Open to Joao Fonseca in straight sets. Despite a victory in the Davis Cup, his Asian swing was a disappointment with two early defeats in Beijing and Shanghai. He does have a title to his name this season after winning the Delray Beach Open, but that was all the way back in February.

Alexandre Muller is also struggling in terms of past performances. He is also has just one victory from his last five matches and was dumped out of the Shanghai Masters in round one by David Goffin despite taking the first set. The Frenchman’s season began in perfect fashion as he won the Hong Kong Open right at the start of January, but he has struggled to hit the same heights since, especially on hard courts.

Muller leads the head-to-head 2-0 after two victories earlier in the season, though they were both very tight three setters. There’s little to separate the pair overall and they will each be desperate for a much needed win after periods of poor form. There’s a strong chance this heads into three sets.
