Michael Zheng vs Cameron Norrie prediction

Michael Zheng is into the main draw at Wimbledon after winning all three of his qualifying matches. He required four sets to get past Colton Smith in his final match, and the American can now turn his attention to the first-round against British number one Cameron Norrie.

Norrie made his return from a back injury at Queen’s Club, but he lost his opening match in straight sets to Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. That extended his losing run to four matches, and he has not won since the third-round of the Madrid Open at the end of April. Norrie, who reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon in 2022, shone last year at SW19 as he progressed all the way to the last eight. However, he was put to the sword by Carlos Alcaraz in their quarter-final match.

Zheng has enough firepower in this game to make this competitive, but Norrie will still be regarded as the favourite to win, given his pedigree and previous record at the event.

Michael Zheng vs Cameron Norrie tip: Over 36.5 games
