On his return from an illness that forced him to miss the Premier League night in Glasgow two weeks ago, Michael van Gerwen lost narrowly to Gerwyn Price in last week's quarter-final in Belfast.

Despite not adding to his points tally since Night 2 though, the Dutchman remains in the top four having made an excellent start to his Premier League campaign.

Less so Luke Humphries, who is in sixth position right now having won just two of his six games to date. However, the world number two can count himself unfortunate having come up against some inspired opponents, not least a rejuvenated Stephen Bunting last week.
