Madison Keys produced a near flawless performance to cruise past Jessica Bouzas Maneiro in Eastbourne.
The American is a force to be reckoned with when the serve and plus-one strike find their mark regularly and it was too much for the Spaniard as she was vanquished 6-0 6-1.
The second seed now meets her compatriot McCartney Kessler for a spot in the last four after the seventh seed posted a 6-4 6-3 triumph against Anhelina Kalinina.
Keys won their first encounter 6-4 6-3 in Brisbane earlier this year and has the stronger A-game overall. That said, Kessler has won on grass previously and will hope to be more competitive this time around.
It's evident this will be on Keys’ racquet and if she produces the sort of form that saw off JBM, then it should be too strong for McCartney on the day.
