Marton Fucsovics vs Tristan Schoolkate prediction
Marton Fucsovics started his clay court season at the event in which he won last year in Bucharest. He could only make the semi-finals this time, losing to Sebastian Baez in straight sets. He has been unable to replicate a run of victories since and could only make the second-round of his last event in Geneva, losing to Novak Djokovic.
The Hungarian reached the fourth-round here in 2020 and Tristan Schoolkate will be his opponent in the first-round of Roland Garros this year. The Australian mainly competes on the Challenger Tour and reached the final in Guangzhou last month, losing to Terence Atmane. He has competed on clay just once this season and couldn’t make it out of qualifying for the Geneva Open.
Fucsovics has not been in particularly great form but Schoolkate has barely featured on clay and the Hungarian should comfortably make it through to the second-round in Paris.
