Marta Kostyuk vs Jasmine Paolini prediction

Jasmine Paolini ended the run of Iga Swiatek’s conqueror Alexandra Eala to reach her second Wimbledon quarter final.

The 2024 finalist scrapped her way to a 6-4 4-6 6-3 victory over the Filipina to set up a fourth career meeting with Marta Kostyuk.

The Ukrainian 12th seed was rock solid as she defeated in-form qualifier Ashlyn Krueger 6-4 6-4.

Paolini leads the head-to-head 2-1 with all three previous meetings on hardcourts between 2022 and 2023.

Kostyuk’s level at present is top tier and the Italian 13th seed will need to cut down on the unforced errors she spewed in the win over Eala to prevail in this one, with Marta very much likely to have the edge in terms of power and consistency.
