Madison Keys will be hoping to build upon a strong run to the last four at Queens when she gets down to business in Berlin.

The American, who has won titles on grass in Eastbourne (twice) and Birmingham, faces an intriguing clash with Marketa Vondrousova.

The Czech won the Wimbledon title two years ago but either side of that stunning streak, she has struggled to put wins together on the turf. 

This will be their second meeting with Keys winning 6-1 6-4 at the US Open two years ago.
