Marina Bassols Ribera has enjoyed a resurgence in 2026, climbing up to 131 in the world after beginning the season well outside the top 200. The Spaniard reached the Madrid WTA 125 final, beating the likes of Yue Yuan and Elvina Kalieva before losing to Lisa Pigato. Kamilla Rakhimova’s best result of the season remains a quarter-final appearance at Queen’s Club, where she lost to 2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu.
