Marie Bouzkova vs Ekaterina Alexandrova prediction

Marie Bouzkova reached the semi-finals in Monterrey after a straight-forward win against Antonia Ruzic. The Czech broke her opponent’s serve on six separate occasions and won eight games in a row at one point as she sealed a 6-3 6-2 win. This is another strong showing on a hard court from Bouzkova, following her victory at the Prague Open last month.

Her opponent is second seed Ekaterina Alexandrova after she knocked defending champion Linda Noskova out of the tournament. Noskova had won her last seven matches in Monterrey without the drop of a set but that all changed as Alexandrova took the first on a tiebreak. Noskova levelled up the match in set two, but Alexandrova broke twice from 2-2 in the decider to win 7-6 4-6 6-2. 

This is very tough to call, with Bouzkova in such strong form, but Alexandrova has enjoyed a brilliant season so far and this is her sixth semi-final in 2025. She seems to always find a way to win, and we can’t see that changing here.
