Marco Trungelliti vs Martin Damm prediction
Marco Trungelliti became the second-oldest player in ATP history to debut in the top 100 earlier this season after his run to the final in Marrakech as a qualifier. However, he was unable to win the title after a straight sets loss to Rafael Jodar. The Argentine entered the main draw in Eastbourne as a lucky loser but then lost in the first-round to Jack Pinnington Jones despite taking the first set.
He will play Martin Damm in the first-round. The American managed to qualify for both the Libema Open and Queen’s Club. At the former event, he won his opening match against Jaume Munar and then tested Alex de Minaur in the next stage of the tournament, ultimately losing in two close sets. At Queen’s, he lost to Jenson Brooksby in round one.
Damm has the more powerful game and a far better record on this surface. If his first serve is firing, he should be able to wrap this up comfortably.
