Manly Sea Eagles vs Canberra Raiders prediction
Canberra Raiders won 19 of their 24 regular season fixtures in last year’s NRL, finishing top of the table by four points over Melbourne Storm. But the pain of losing to eventual champions Brisbane Broncos in the first knockout round is likely still felt by the Raiders and after stewing on that throughout the off-season, they’ll be raring to go here.
Manly Sea Eagles will have their work cut out against such an efficient unit, but are expected to be better compared to what we saw from them in 2025 when they ran out of gas come the final rounds of the regular season and ultimately wound up outside the top eight. A close encounter may well be on the cards and whilst backing Canberra to edge it is worth considering, it wouldn’t be a shock to see the hosts deal them a bloody nose.
