Manly Sea Eagles vs Brisbane Broncos prediction

A crucial clash for two teams sitting side-by-side on the ladder, as the Manly Sea Eagles host the Brisbane Broncos at 4 Pines Park on Saturday.

Manly (9th) suffered a 30-10 loss to the Parramatta Eels in Round 12 and were out played in every aspect. They have now won just two of their past five matches and face a crucial period in the season starting this week.

The Broncos (8th) had the bye in Round 12 and suffered a 30-26 defeat to the Dragons in Round 11, their third straight.

Lehi Hopoate impressed when filling in for Turbo at fullback in Round 12, scoring two tries against the Eels.

Jesse Arthars has been a try-scoring machine, leading the team with 11, just one behind league-leading Ryan Papenhuyzen.

The Broncos defeated the Sea Eagles 13-12 in their last encounter at Magic Round, 2024 and have won the last three matchups.

This is a pivotal match for both teams and despite some key injuries for the home side we think they can bounce back this week.
