Magdalena Frech vs Jessica Pegula prediction

Jessica Pegula arrives in Europe for the clay swing on the back of a title run on the dirt in Charleston. 

The American has returned to a career-high ranking of third in the world after reaching four finals already this year, emerging triumphant on two occasions. 

The 31-year-old has won 17 of her last 19 matches and will surely have too much for Magdalena Frech.

The Pole, 27, dug out a hard-fought 7-5 4-6 7-6 win over veteran Sara Errani but will need a career-best win in terms of ranking to progress against ‘Jpeg’ having only won one of 17 matches against top ten players. 

Pegula won their previous two meetings in straight sets and in her current form that’s the obvious bet this time around.
