Madison Keys vs Coco Gauff prediction

Coco Gauff and Madison Keys face-off for the sixth time in a highly-anticipated, blockbuster all-American quarter-final. 

The world number two, Gauff produced her best display yet in taking down dangerous 20th seed Ekaterina Alexandrova in straight sets in the round of 16.

Keys was also impressive as she ended compatriot Hailey Baptiste’s fine run to remain perfect at Grand Slams in 2025.

Keys leads the head-to-head 3-2 and has won the last two encounters which includes the only one on clay, in Madrid last year. 

The seventh seed is playing some of the best tennis of her career on the back of her Australian Open triumph in January and she is a very tricky opponent for Gauff, who will still head into the clash as the favourite.

The second seed’s outstanding defence will be vital against Keys’ firepower and Gauff will also need her second serve to avoid any major malfunctions. 

Only two of their five encounters have gone the distance but this may buck the trend, particularly given both are known for sudden hot streaks throughout matches.
