Lulu Sun vs Ann Li prediction
Lulu Sun reached her first final on the WTA Tour this season as she defeated Claire Liu in straight sets. The New Zealander, who has now won nine of her last ten matches including the qualifying rounds, made a storming start to the match and recovered from losing her serve in the second set to win 6-0 7-6.
She now goes up against Ann Li in the final. The American advanced as her opponent Shuai Zhang retired in the first set, with Li leading 5-2. The second seed is yet to drop a set at the event and is now through to her third final of the year, though she was unable to win the title on those two previous occasions.
Despite Li having the better season and being way further up in the rankings, Sun has found some form during this last stretch of the campaign and will not make it easy for the American. This may go the distance.
