First up in Ostrava, it’s 20-year-old Lucie Havlickova and Boulter will be expected to dominate in this one.
The world number 281, Havlickova, is a novice at tour level but given this match is in her homeland and the serious tennis pedigree attached to Czech players, Boulter will be eager not to underestimate the youngster.
There have been some good early signs in Boulter’s game under Joyce's tutelage despite just one win this year, but her serve and plus-one forehand should be too much in this one and if she lands them consistently she should progress in straight sets.
