Lucia Bronzetti vs Karolina Muchova prediction

Karolina Muchova belatedly kicks off her clay swing against home underdog Lucia Bronzetti.

The former French Open finalist will feature on the dirt for the first time this year having posted semi-final runs in Linz and Dubai. 

The 12th seed will face a confident Bronzetti, who registered her first ever win in Rome against Anastasija Sevastova in the first round. 

However, this is Muchova’s favourite surface and assuming she stays fit she’s likely to be a dark horse at the French Open and could go deep here. 

If Bronzetti can get off to a strong start she could make it tricky, but Muchova’s craft and potent forehand should see her through comfortably.
