Lorenzo Musetti and Taylor Fritz will do battle for the seventh time in their rivalry, with a place in the Australian Open quarter-finals on the line.
The head-to-head is finely-poised at 3-3 with the American winning their most recent clash in straight sets at the Nitto ATP Finals in November.

The American still has a few gears he could go through, particularly on a hard court, and he knows he will need them against the spirited Musetti with this match very likely to go at least four sets.
Many tipsters are expecting a battle but it also feels like the surface could be key here. If Fritz serves well and gets the plus-one strike into play with regular authority, the ninth seed will have a great chance of picking up the mini rankings upset and reaching his second Australian Open quarter-final.
