Lois Boisson vs Belinda Bencic prediction

Lois Boisson produced a brilliant performance as she beat Ashlyn Krueger in straight sets to progress to the second-round of the Cincinnati Open. The 2025 Roland Garros semi-finalist did not even concede a break point as she won 6-3 6-2. This was her first main draw win at a WTA 1000 event this season, and just her second overall.

She now faces Belinda Bencic. The Swiss is the 12th seed at the event and received a bye in the first-round. She impressed in Toronto as she advanced all the way to the quarter-finals, but she withdrew from the tournament before her match with Coco Gauff could take place due to a hip injury.

Bencic will hope to have fully recovered before the start of this event, with the US Open fast approaching. Her all-round game was in excellent shape at the Canadian Open, and she should have too much quality for Boisson.
