The ninth seed will now meet Varvara Gracheva for the first time after the French qualifier edged to a 7-6 6-4 victory over Laura Siegemund. 

The world number 73 has yet to drop a set in three matches (including qualifying) but we expect that to change here.

Noskova has the greater weapons and the appetite to try and break that barrier she’s been eyeing for a while now.
