Linda Noskova vs Tatjana Maria prediction

In a rematch of last year’s final, Linda Noskova edged out Lulu Sun in two tiebreakers to advance in Monterrey. There were no breaks of serve throughout the entire match, with both players serving superbly to keep the other at bay. Noskova dominated the first breaker to take a crucial advantage but she was forced to save a set point in the other, eventually taking it 9-7 to seal a hard-fought win.

Tatjana Maria is her next opponent. The Queen’s Club champion defeated Anna Bondar in straight sets to set up a match with Noskova. A tight first set saw four breaks exchanged, with Maria also saving a set point when serving to stay in it. She came out on top in the tiebreak, but Bondar built up a lead in the second to go 5-2 up. Maria fought back to reel off five straight games and win 7-6 7-5.

Noskova served extremely well in her last match, with a first serve percentage of 87%. If she can reproduce that level of performance, she is likely to overpower Maria.
