Linda Noskova vs Katerina Siniakova prediction

Linda Noskova made it through to the quarter-finals in Prague with a straight sets win against Elisabetta Cocciaretto after an hour and 27 minutes. She went an early break down but then reeled off eight games in a row to take a 6-2 2-0 lead against the Italian. Cocciaretto came back into the match but Noskova broke again in the 10th game of the second set to win it 6-4. There have been fluctuations in the top seed’s level during the tournament so far, but she is yet to drop a set.

She goes up against compatriot Katerina Siniakova in the next round. Siniakova defeated Dominika Salkova 7-6 6-3. She recovered from 3-1 down to serve for the first set, only to be broken when doing so. Nevertheless, she still came out on top in the tiebreak and went on to control the rest of the encounter.

Noskova has managed to find a way through her matches despite not being at her best in this event and we can see that continuing against Siniakova. She already holds a fine record at this tournament, having made the final two years ago, and will be expected to come through this one.
