Linda Noskova vs Ekaterina Alexandrova prediction

Linda Noskova continued her fine run of form with a dominant victory over Viktorija Golubic in the third-round of the China Open. Noskova was not broken on serve as she raced to a 6-2 6-1 victory after just 55 minutes. The Wimbledon champion, who advanced to the final of this event last year, has won 23 of her last 27 matches overall.

She now faces Ekaterina Alexandrova. The Russian came from a set and a break down to beat compatriot Diana Shnaider. Alexandrova fell behind early in the second set but broke back in the fourth game and never looked back, completing a 3-6 6-4 6-3 victory after one hour and 54 minutes.

The head-to-head is locked at 1-1. They met earlier this season, with Noskova cruising to a 6-1 6-1 win over Alexandrova in Stuttgart. Alexandrova is in better form this time around, but it is difficult to look past the 21-year-old given her dominant recent run.
