Linda Noskova vs Ann Li prediction
Linda Noskova is yet to make a key impact in 2026, despite a strong end to last season. She was defeated by Xinyu Wang in the third-round of the Australian Open, with the Czech then competing in Doha but only making the second-round after a three set loss to Varvara Gracheva. Noskova was 3-1 up in the deciding set but her level dropped as Gracheva fought back to win the match.
Ann Li is her first-round opponent in Dubai. She performed well in Doha, with two wins over Leylah Fernandez and Magdalena Frech to get through to the round-of-16. Li looked on course for the quarter-finals against Elisabetta Cocciaretto as she opened up a 4-2 lead in the decider, but Cocciaretto came back to win.
Noskova will be seen as the favourite but she hasn’t got going yet and could find it tough against Li, who is likely to be competitive here.
