Linda Klimovicova will eye an upset when she takes on Katie Volynets.

The 21-year-old Pole is making her way towards the top 100 and picked up some excellent wins in Australian Open qualifying before losing in the second round to eventual semi-finalist Elina Svitolina.

The world number 134 takes on an American who will be fired up to win her first match of the season having come up short in Hobart and Brisbane as well as losing in qualifying in Brisbane.

Volynets sits just inside the top 100 and has previously been just outside the top 50. If she can find her best tennis, she will be confident of getting off the mark, but Klimovicova has form and will at the very least make this a hard-fought affair.
