Leeds Rhinos pulled off one of their best wins of the season last weekend, edging past fellow high-flyers Wakefield Trinity in an extremely close contest that saw Brad Arthur’s side triumph 22-24. It’s even more notable that the Rhinos continue to win without having Maika Sivo available and they remain top of the table, two points above Wigan Warriors in second-place.
Leigh Leopards occupy the final spot in the top six and boast a cushion on the chasing pack. They’ve had a great season under Adrian Lam and have won six of their last seven. The one defeat however, came against Wigan which perhaps emphases that as good as Lam’s men have been, the very top teams in Super League represent a bridge too far. Leeds should be included as one of those top teams and backing them to take the lead early, ultimately defeating the Leopards may prove a worthwhile move.
