Leeds Rhinos Team News: Race against time for Newman

Boss Brad Arthur faces a wait to find out if Harry Newman will be able to feature here as he struggles with a knee injury. However, this game comes too soon for the likes of Cam Smith, Tom Holroyd and Cooper Jenkins.

Squad: Lachie Miller, Harry Newman, Ash Handley, Ryan Hall, Brodie Croft, Mikolaj Oledzki, Andy Ackers, Keenan Palasia, James Bentley, James McDonnell, Jarrod O'Connor, Sam Lisone, Morgan Gannon, Jake Connor, Jack Sinfield, Riley Lumb, Ben Littlewood, Kallum Watkins, Presley Cassell, Chris Hankinson, Joe Shorrocks

Hull KR Team News: Waerea-Hargreaves suspended

Hull KR are without Jared Waerea-Hargreaves through suspension, whilst Gildart, Kershaw and McIlorum are all out injured. In better news though for the visitors, Tyrone May returns to the fold and should play.

Squad: Tom Davies, Peta Hiku, Joe Burgess, Mikey Lewis, Tyrone May, Sauaso Sue, Jez Litten, Dean Hadley, James Batchelor, Elliot Minchella, Sam Luckley, Jai Whitbread, Rhyse Martin, Jack Broadbent, Kelepi Tanginoa, Jack Brown, Eribe Doro, Bill Leyland, Arthur Mourgue, Noah Booth, Rowan Milnes

Leeds Rhinos vs Hull KR Prediction

Hull KR’s win away to Wigan Warriors leaves them overwhelming favourites to win the League Leaders Shield at this stage. Willie Peters’ side have now won their last four matches, racking up 154 points in the process. But for Hull KR to claim a 20th victory in Super League this season, they’ll need to be at their best once again when taking into account their opponents.

Leeds Rhinos are a very dangerous team under Arthur and can draw level on points with Wigan if they were to secure a second win over Hull KR this season. But the reality is that the visitors are a complete juggernaut and have been so all campaign long. Their squad will still be on a high following that triumph at the Brick Community Stadium and backing them to record another crucial away win has to be favoured.
