Learner Tien vs Nishesh Basavareddy prediction

Learner Tien ensured he would advance through to the semi-finals after coming from a set down to beat Nicolai Budkov Kjaer in his final group stage match. The American produced his best level of the tournament so far towards the end of the match as he wrapped up a 3-4 (2) 4-1 4-2 4-2 victory. 

He will go up against Nishesh Basavareddy in the semi-finals. The 20-year-old qualified for the semi-finals after a straight-forward win over Justin Engel. Basavareddy was not broken on serve and only conceded one break point as he won 4-3 (3) 4-2 4-3 (5) after one hour and 10 minutes.

The head-to-head heavily favours Tien as he leads 3-0. He won their first two meetings in Challenger events last year, before defeating Basavareddy in straight sets at Wimbledon in the first-round. He seems to be finding his feet now and he’ll be expected to come through this one.
