Learner Tien vs Andrey Rublev prediction

Andrey Rublev will get a quick opportunity for some revenge after being shocked by Learner Tien in Washington.

The American teenager charged to a 7-5 6-2 win over the Russian in their first ever meeting just three weeks ago, with the 19-year-old posting runs to the round of 16 both there and in Toronto.

Rublev has been pretty solid aside from that shock loss, reaching the last four in Los Cabos and the quarter-finals in Canada either side of the defeat.

The ninth seed will be motivated to make amends, but Tien is a menace on hardcourts and it is likely to be a battle.

Rublev often has too much for the majority of the tour just below the elite and we expect him to find a high level and prove too much for Tien on this occasion.
