Rebecca Sramkova will be bidding for just a second main draw tour-level win on grass when she meets Laura Siegemund.
The Slovakian world number 41 chalked up a victory over former Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova at Queens and is hoping to make more of a mark on the surface this year, having spent her career far happier on hardcourts.
The veteran Siegemund came through qualifying but has only a handful of wins in main draws in 2025 with the 38-year-old happier on clay than on the turf.
