Kristina Liutova vs Darja Vidmanova prediction

Kristina Liutova is one win away from marking her first ever tournament at WTA level with a title.

The 16-year-old continued her dream run in Memphis with a 7-5 6-1 success over the USA’s Elvina Kalieva.

The Russian teenager, who is ranked at 229 in the world, will now meet Darja Vidmanova in the final after the 23-year-old Czech defeated Renata Zarazua 6-3 6-3.

Darja may have the higher ranking at 114 in the world but we’ve learned across this tournament that matters little. Both players can make strong claims for winning this title based upon what has preceded the final, but we are going to back the teenager to cap a remarkable week of tennis by lifting the title.
