However, she has failed to win two matches in a row at any other event in 2026. Recently, Volynets was defeated by Kimberly Birrell in the second stage of Dubai qualifying, and she then lost to Nikola Bartunkova in the first-round of the ATX Open last week.

Rebecca Sramkova is her first-round opponent. She has seven defeats from 13 matches this season.
