Katerina Siniakova will hope for a strong run in the singles at Indian Wells. She has picked up some results at the start of this season but has failed to win consecutive matches or get past the second-round of an event in 2026. She last competed in Dubai last month, losing a high-quality match to Paula Badosa in straight sets. 

She takes on Sofia Kenin in round one. The 2020 Australian Open champion is without a victory in her last six matches and has just one victory so far this season. Kenin struggled during the second half of 2025 and her form has continued into 2026. This loss of form has seen her drop out of the top 40 of the world rankings.
