Karolina Muchova vs Naomi Osaka prediction
Karolina Muchova reached her third final of the campaign after brushing aside Elena-Gabriela Ruse. The Czech gave up just two break point opportunities as she won 6-4 6-4. Muchova came from a set down to beat Clara Tauson in her quarter-final match. The 2023 Roland Garros finalist has progressed to finals on three different surfaces this year.
She will now play Naomi Osaka. The four-time Grand Slam champion advanced to her first ever grass court final after beating Xinyu Wang 6-3 6-3. Osaka served well and limited the number of opportunities for her opponent, and she is now through to her first final since the Canadian Open last August.
Osaka leads the head-to-head 3-2, but this is their first meeting on grass. Their most recent match was at the quarter-final stage of the US Open last year, with the Japanese player winning in straight sets. She has been excellent so far this week, and will be difficult to stop if she maintains her high level of performance
