Karolina Muchova vs Maddison Inglis prediction
Karolina Muchova suffered a disappointing first-round loss to Alycia Parks at Roland Garros last time out. She was making her return from a wrist injury, but the 2023 French Open finalist never truly got going in the match. She made some worrying comments after the match, stating that she still hasn’t fully recovered and may need more surgery to rectify the problem.
Nevertheless, Muchova has decided she is fit enough to begin her grass court campaign at Queen’s Club. She takes on Maddison Inglis in round one here. The Australian won both of her qualifying matches without the drop of a set to make it through to the main draw. She also competed in the Birmingham Classic last week but lost in the first-round to compatriot Kimberly Birrell.
Despite her struggles with injury, Muchova has still shown glimpses of her quality this year with back-to-back semi-finals at the Linz Open and Dubai Tennis Championships in February. We still expect the two-time Wimbledon quarter-finalist to defeat her far less experienced opponent in the first-round.
