Karolina Muchova vs Barbora Krejcikova prediction

Former champion Barbora Krejcikova will face a familiar face in another all-Czech showdown for a spot in the Wimbledon quarter finals.

The 2024 winner followed her win over French Open champion Mirra Andreeva with an impressive 6-3 7-5 triumph over her compatriot Nikola Bartunkova.

The two-time Major winner will now tackle another Czech in the shape of tenth seed, Karolina Muchova, who ended the run of qualifier Mananchaya Sawangkaew to remain flawless in the draw.

This will be their third showdown with the match-up tied at 1-1, although they have not faced-off for several years and both of those encounters were on clay.

This is a very tough call as both players are capable of going to the wire when they are fully fit. That seems to be the case at this tournament and it’s a good bet to suggest there will be plenty of games and the prospect of a third set given the bragging rights and high stakes.

Karolina Muchova vs Barbora Krejcikova tip: Over 20.5 games
