Karen Khachanov vs Ethan Quinn prediction

Karen Khachanov could only reach the third-round at Roland Garros, as he lost in five sets to Jesper de Jong. The Russian had saved two match points in the fourth set as he forced a decider, but his momentum stalled with De Jong outlasting him to win. Khachanov hasn’t been close to his best this season, aside from a credible run to the last eight at the Italian Open.

His first-round opponent in Halle is Ethan Quinn. He suffered a first-round loss at the French Open to Francisco Comesana. Quinn is without a victory in his last four matches, but he does have a Challenger title following success in Phoenix earlier this year.

Khachanov is a two-time semi-finalist at the event, and he will be the firm favourite to advance. However, Quinn possesses the weapons to make this a competitive encounter, with his strong serve and groundstrokes capable of causing the Russian problems.
