Kamilla Rakhimova vs Elina Svitolina prediction

Kamilla Rakhimova has had to come through two matches to reach this stage and she will be relatively happy with her victories over Astra Sharma and then Kayla Cross.

This is the first time the Russian 23-year-old has made the main draw at the Canadian Open and her win over Cross was her first win.

She now faces a tough encounter against tenth-seed Elina Svitolina who returns to action after a short break following Wimbledon.

Svitolina has had a solid year so far making the quarters in both the Australian and French Grand Slam events, but she will be eager to produce a strong second half to the year.
