Kamil Majchrzak picked up his second title of the season on the Challenger Tour last time out as he defeated Dino Prizmic in straight sets. This was the Pole’s first hard court tournament since losing in the qualifying rounds of Miami five months ago, but he will now hope he can continue the momentum with a strong showing here ahead of the US Open.

Nicolas Jarry has reverted back to his poor form during the season, after his incredible run at Wimbledon. Jarry won six matches in a row at the All England Club, including all three qualifying stages, to make the fourth-round. The Chilean has not won a match since, as he lost in round one of Kitzbuhel to Botic van de Zandschulp and then lost early on to Pedro Martinez in the Cincinnati Open despite taking the first set.

Majchrzak leads the head-to-head 1-0, having beaten Jarry in the first-round of the 2019 US Open after coming through a five set epic. He will be full of confidence after his title on the Challenger Tour and is likely to defeat the out-of-form Chilean.
