Kamil Majchrzak vs Jiri Lehecka prediction
Kamil Majchrzak enjoyed the best week of his career in the Netherlands, as he beat three top 10 players to win his first ever tour-level title at the Libema Open. The Pole defeated former world number one Daniil Medvedev in the semi-finals and then produced a nerveless display in the final to beat Alex de Minaur in three sets. He will hope for another deep run on grass when he competes at Queen’s Club.
His first-round opponent is Jiri Lehecka. The Czech reached the final of this event last year, losing to Carlos Alcaraz in three sets. Lehecka began his grass court season in Stuttgart last week. He beat James Duckworth and Frances Tiafoe to advance to the quarter-finals. He took the first set against Ben Shelton and had match points in the second set tiebreak, but Shelton would save them and go on to win the match and the tournament.
Majchrzak performed incredibly well last week, but the quick turnaround is probably his biggest concern. Lehecka is the favourite, but his opponent has earned too much respect over the last week to be dismissed.
Kamil Majchrzak vs Jiri Lehecka tip: Over 22.5 games
