The Pole was upset by Otto Virtanen in the semi-finals of a Birmingham Challenger last week, but set the record straight with a 6-7 6-4 7-6 victory in another tight affair.

The world number 76 now faces another familiar opponent in the shape of qualifier James McCabe.

The Aussie qualifier claimed a first ever top 50 win with a shock 6-7 6-2 7-6 success over eighth seed Zizou Bergs.

The world number 233 will now look to avenge a 7-6 6-3 loss to Kamil in Birmingham last week.

The 22-year-old showed real pluck against Zizou and may well make it tight again, but we expect Majchrzak to come through once again.
